Warmup

Grounded Warmup Routine Before You Leave the Base

Queuing cold into a spider nest is how you donate rare parts. A short Grounded warmup — even ten to fifteen minutes — makes your first real ambush feel like your third.

Why your first fight should not be the warmup

Most players load in, grab a bow, and die to the first orb weaver peek. Hands are cold, audio is not dialed, and grass timing feels off. Treat warmup as part of the session, not optional fluff.

Target practice, kiting laps, and one low-stakes farm exist so your expensive armor run is not the experiment.

A simple 15-minute routine that scales

Minutes 1–5: leading shots on moving targets near base. Minutes 6–10: dodge practice on a known ant path — sidestep, re-aim, stagger check. Minutes 11–15: one focused farm block where you only work one habit, like holding high ground or leaving before swarms stack.

Keep the routine identical for a week so improvements are measurable. Rotate regions later — pond one day, upper yard the next — after the habit sticks.

What to do right before you head out

Check food buffs, repair gear, confirm your route, and skim cheat status if you use overlays after a patch. Pair warmup with settings and weapon tiers so you are not reinventing the kit every night.

If the first two deaths feel mechanical, stop stacking runs and repeat five minutes of bow practice. Ego queueing while tilted is not a strategy.
